Have you heard the buzz?

Congratulations to Tyler Black, the winner of the Lethbridge Public Library Spelling Mini-Bee!

There was a real buzz in the air at the the library on Saturday, February 6th! A dozen students in grades one to three took the stage and spelled their hearts out at the Mini-Bee. The Mini-Bee lasted a phenomenal nine rounds, and the winner was #2, Tyler Black, with the championship word "brighten."

Congratulations and thank you to all of our spellers and everyone who helped them with their hard work studying and practicing!

A special thanks to our pronouncer and judges, Ian MacLachlan, Craig Monk, and Louise Barrett, to the University of Lethbirdge Literature Club volunteers, and to The Engravers for donating an astounding trophy!
