French Afternoon At The Library

Join us to read or listen to stories and play games in French, come and meet new friends at the Lethbridge Public Library! For children ages five to twelve.

Après midi d'activités en français à la bibliothèque.

Vous aimez lire en français ou préférez écouter des histoires francophones ou appréciez de jouer à des jeux de société. Vous pourrez rencontrer de nouveaux amis qui partagent avec vous le plaisir de parler français. Venez nombreux !! Pour les enfants de 5-12 ans.



Summer Reading Program - Ready, Set, Read!

SUMMER READING PROGRAM AT LETHBRIDGE PUBLIC LIBRARY, KIDS CORNER – READY, SET, READ!
 
The Lethbridge Public Library’s Ready, Set, Read! program provides your child with the opportunity to continue reading throughout the summer months.
 
Ready, Set, Read! gives children who can read and have attended Kindergarten through grade 3, the opportunity to read with a Volunteer who has attended Grade 4 to 12.  This fun and informal program is one hour in length, 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., Monday through Thursday.  The Reader and Volunteer share 40 minutes of reading time, with the last 20 minutes spent in a fun group activity.
 
We are looking for enthusiastic Readers for Ready, Set, Read! which begins Monday, July 5 and runs until Thursday, August 12, 2010.

This program is for newborns to 4 years old with an adult.  Come and spend quality time with your child.  Activities include songs, rhymes, fingerplays and much more!

Theatre Gallery, movies start at 2:30 p.m.

Join us for a movie every Tuesday afternoon in the summer.  Younger children should be accompanied by an adult.  Bring your own snacks!

Join us on Wednesday afternoons, from 2:30 - 3:30 p.m. for a variety of activities:
