For Kids
Provides a student-focused interface and a database of young adult, children's and easy titles designed for children in pre-K, elementary or middle schools. A subset of the Novelist database Novelist K-8 uses different colors and fewer tabs and excludes adult content.
EBSCO's Student Research Center (SRC) makes it easy for students to search by keyword or by topic to find the most useful search results. Results can be easily sorted by source type (magazines, reference books, photos, flags, etc.).
"E-books for E-kids". TumbleBook Library is an online collection of TumbleBooks - animated, talking picture books which teach kids the joy of reading in a format they'll love. TumbleBooks are created by taking existing picture books, adding animation, sound, music and narration to produce an electronic picture book which you can read, or have read to you. This online resource includes picture storybooks, chapter books/YA novels, life learning books, language learning, audio books, and storybook related games and puzzles. The 'TumbleMailer' also lets you send TumbleCards and select TumbleBooks by e-mail, and even lets you record your own narration!
